A combination of sadness and joy, along with an ending and also a new beginning, brings this letter to you today.
Following consultation with our advisors, re-evaluation of location and market conditions, and much, much discussion, The Board of Beach CITE Studios with complete support of staff, has elected to reallocate the assets of our organization to other venues.
While saddened by this decision, we are collectively filled with the joy that we were able to share with each of you, while located here along the Alabama Gulf Coast.
Whether it was while painting, or drawing; listening to a writer explain the thoughts behind their new book; smelling the delicious scents of cooking in "Café Cite"; or most of all hearing the beautiful voices and incredible music of the artists that graced our "Listening Room"; we knew in our hearts that our mission was being fulfilled.
For those who will question, we pledge that our journey will move forward for others to enjoy. In the very near future, Beach Cite Studios will be making donations of its assets to other established and flourishing "Arts Facilities". This gesture will allow our mission to continue as they utilize our remaining assets to serve others that actively participate in the arts.
To each of you that supported us; through your membership, attendance at events, actions, and kind words of encouragement; we will be eternally grateful.
We thank you once again for supporting the arts!
